Week Three Preview: Serena Williams, WTT Finals

It?s the third and final week of the 36th regular season of World TeamTennis and there?s already one team that?s secured a spot in the playoffs: the Washington Kastles! Check out the rest of the week?s matches to see which three teams hope to earn the other three spots for a chance to compete during WTT Finals Weekend presented by GEICO in Charleston, S.C.!

Monday, July 18:

- St. Louis Aces @ Boston Lobsters (Mark Philippoussis - STL), 7PM
 
Catch Australia?s Mark Philippoussis in action as he leads his St. Louis Aces against the Boston Lobsters!  Both the Aces and the Lobsters need a win to stay in the thick of the playoff race.  The Aces have also added Varvara Lepchenko to their lineup in the home stretch.  Lepchenko is currently ranked #101 in singles on the WTA Tour after reaching a career high of No. 74 last November.
 
- Kansas City Explorers @ New York Sportimes (Bob & Mike Bryan - KC, Martina Hingis - NYS ), 7:30 PM
 
Playing at the SEFCU arena at the University at Albany, watch three of the greatest doubles players of all time take to the courts in this compelling third week match.  The Explorers have also added Jarka Gadjosova as a wild card player for their final 4 matches of the season, starting tonight.  Gadjosova led the Explorers to the 2010 WTT title.

Tuesday, July 19:

- Sacramento Capitals @ Springfield Lasers, 7:05PM
 
Watch as these two teams, featuring such players as Vania King, Mark Knowles and Rik De Voest compete.

- Newport Beach Breakers @ St. Louis Aces, 7:15PM

Playing in his team?s home stadium, catch Mark Philippoussis' Aces face the Newport Beach Breakers!

Wednesday, July 20:

- Washington Kastles @ New York Sportimes (Serena Williams - WAS, Martina Hingis - NYS), 7:00 PM
 
Serena Williams and her Kastles, off to a blistering 10-0 mark in the first two weeks, take on Hingis? Sportimes in a clash of Eastern Conference rivals! Watch LIVE on Tennis Channel at 7pm ET or catch the match on live streaming, too.
 
Thursday, July 21:

- Philadelphia Freedoms @ Washington Kastles, 7PM

Beatrice Capra, the only amateur playing in WTT this season, and her Philadelphia Freedoms face the top team in the Eastern Conference on Thursday. Capra, who lives nearby in Maryland, can expect lots of support from her family and friends.  Don?t miss the action!
